ABOUT

At the age of 15 I stepped into an interior design studio for the very first time. I was accompanying my parents who were building our new home. My father was a talented contractor who built anything and everything, including homes, recreational properties, and government docks. My mother had a keen eye for fashion, had a fabulous flower and vegetable garden and was skilled at sewing. I was influenced by their combined talents.

My parents had very clear ideas about what they wanted for their home, and because we were from out of town, we had to maximize our visit and spent the whole day going over the blue prints, selecting fixtures, fittings, wallpaper, lighting, furniture and much more.

On that day, I knew I wanted to be an interior designer.

I graduated from Fanshawe College, ON and worked in Calgary for Bond and Mogridge Architects, SPACE.CO Interior Design, Hayashi and Associates Interior Design, Ethan Allen and Sizeland Evans Interior Design. I then opened my own interior design studio in 2013.

I have spent the past 30 years immersed in design, from commercial, hospitality, recreational and – my favourite – residential.
